Shooting-Range Environmental Cleanup

The environmental side of a range, handled by one company.

Years of fired rounds leave lead in your berms, your traps and the soil behind them. One accountable crew recovers the metal, screens and restores the soil, hauls it out contained, and recycles it in our own furnace — and brings in the licensed specialists where formal remediation or site closure is required.

HAZWOPER-certified crews General & pollution-liability coverage One contract · one point of accountability Contained, manifested haul-out

We own the furnace — so the metal can offset the cost of the job.

Your lead and brass don't pass through a broker on the way to a smelter. They come to ours, in Houston. Fewer hands in the middle is why more of the metal's value comes back to you.

What one company covers

What we self-perform, and what we manage for you

A shooting range is an industrial site with a lead problem. Some of the work our own HAZWOPER crews do start to finish. The formal environmental side is done by licensed specialists we bring in and manage — so you still deal with one company.

Our crews self-perform

Recovery, handling & recycling

  • Lead and projectile recovery from berms and bullet traps
  • Berm screening — separating lead and fragments from the soil
  • Backfilling the cleaned soil and rebuilding the backstop
  • Indoor HEPA cleaning and lead-dust containment
  • Contained, manifested haul-out — no piles left behind
  • Melting and recycling the metal in our own Houston furnace
  • Live-round demil with a certificate of destruction
Managed for you

Licensed specialists, under our management

  • Formal environmental remediation
  • Lead-impacted soil treatment and stabilization
  • Regulatory testing and site closure
  • Abatement clearance where a facility requires it

If your site needs any of this, we'll tell you plainly and coordinate qualified, licensed professionals — you keep one number to call.

We're HAZWOPER-certified and carry comprehensive general and pollution-liability coverage. We don't advertise ourselves as a licensed remediator — where that credential is required, it sits with the specialists we manage.

What we recover

Everything that stopped downrange

01

Earth berms

Lead, projectiles and fragments screened out of impact berms on outdoor ranges — soil backfilled, backstop rebuilt.

02

Bullet traps

Steel and rubber traps serviced on indoor ranges, lead dust contained under HAZWOPER protocols.

03

Spent brass

We take the brass and casings on the same trip and recycle them through our own operation.

04

Live & dud rounds

Anything live goes through our proprietary popping furnace before melt, with a certificate of destruction.

How it works

From berm to furnace

STEP 01

Site visit

We look at your backstops or traps, how long since the last cleanup, and access for equipment.

STEP 02

Recover & screen

The crew recovers the metal and screens the lead and fragments out of the soil.

STEP 03

Restore

Cleaned soil is backfilled and the backstop rebuilt so it keeps doing its job.

STEP 04

Haul & recycle

Contained, manifested haul-out to our Houston furnace — and the metal's value comes back to you.

The lead doesn't leave on its own

Every round you've ever fired is still downrange. The longer an impact berm goes, the more lead works into the soil — which is exactly why the recovery and the environmental side belong with one accountable company, not three.

One range, one company

Tell us what's downrange. We'll handle the rest.

Outdoor berms or indoor traps, a few lanes or a few hundred — one contract, one crew, one number to call. We'll tell you plainly what your site needs.
